Babies Erythema Multiforme. Red, raised skin patches appear on the body. While vaccination is rarely a precipitating factor for erythema multiforme, it may occasionally be seen in infants and children.

Erythema exsudativum multiforme (verder afgekort als eem) is een abrupt ontstane, niet besmettelijke zelfgenezende huidziekte die voornamelijk optreedt bij (jonge) volwassenen onder de 40ste jaar. In most cases, doctors know the rash when they see it. Other tests, such as a biopsy, may help find out what is causing it.

Erythema multiforme this clinical scenario is typical of a child presenting with erythema multiforme (em) minor. It usually appears in the first few days after birth and fades within a week. Erythema multiforme (em) is an acute eruption characterized by fixed, targetoid skin lesions with or without mild mucosal lesions. Erythema multiforme mainly affects adults under 40, although it can happen at any age.
